Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is the world’s fastest growing watersport – join us and find out why! This sport is popular with people of all ages and is very accessible.
It also provides a great workout to develop fitness and core strength. You can choose to have a lesson or join an exploration with an instructor, or hire a board and try it out by yourself. You’ll find our boards surprisingly stable and after starting off kneeling, you’ll soon have the confidence to be standing and paddling around the bay, maybe even trying some yoga poses or surfing for the more adventurous.
WHO? No previous experience of SUP or Yoga is required. Only ever try a pose (asana) if you feel comfortable to do so, pose modifications are offered to help you move and progress at your comfort, listening to your inner wisdom, not inner critic. 12-15 year olds may participate with responsible parent/guardian written consent.
COST £25 per student per session £15 per student if joining to clip-in to anchor line with own board/equipment (please advise before-hand to ensure enough carabiners are available)
WHEN? Every Friday 18:15
WHERE? Every class is unique. The venue can be variable and dependent on weather and tides, allowing mother nature to take the lead in providing us the backdrop for each class. We always try to make class challenging in an enjoyably way leaving any competitiveness back on the shore!
