Located on the north west coast of Guernsey, Grand Havre is a natural harbour with a beautiful sandy beach.
The beach is an a sheltered cove which is located where the Vale was once separated from the rest of Guernsey. The sea flowed between the two islands with The Bridge being the other end.
Le Grande Havre was mentioned in passing within The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society novel - “Peter lives in a nursing home near La Grande Havre in Vale.”
